“I create uncanny, camp and grotesque image-based work that experiments with the intersection between desire and repulsion. Focusing on death, deviance, the erotic and the macabre through playing with disembodied and fragmented figures. My work embraces the negative, through the use of a nostalgic angst configured within my own visual conventions. I find myself interested in the adolescent gay cultural psyche, a place where fictional worlds, the private and personal fantasies, are engendered by youth.”
